The Cumulus conference in Antwerp Belgium, hosted by the University of Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, was held on April 12th-15th, 2023 with great success. With the theme of "Connectivity and Creativity in times of Conflict", the conference explored with designers, artists, and educators how culture and creative industries can provide social resilience, soothing and innovative models in this particular context. JDSSI academic committee member Dr. Miaosen Gong, as an executive committee member of the alliance, was invited to attend the working meeting of the alliance executive committee and the annual spring meeting of the alliance.
